Overview
Friends of FAM, Inc. is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization based in Atlanta, GA consisting of a board of passionate FAMU alumni who are committed to providing mentorship and direct financial assistance in the form of scholarships to deserving, enrolled FAMU students from the Atlanta metropolitan area. “Be Out Day” is a family-friendly event bringing in Rattlers from around the country, all in an effort to raise scholarships for deserving FAMU students.

To tell the story of Friends of FAM/ Be Out Day, you must tell the story of the student scholars. It was important for us to heavily feature the “fun” moments throughout the day, while featuring the student scholars throughout the video. Because mentoring is such a big part of the “Friends of FAM” mission, it was essential to show the Friends of FAM mentors with their student mentees.
A big part of the FAMU brand is the “Marching 100.” We included several performance shots of the Marching 100 Alumni Band to speed up the pacing and keep the viewers engaged.
